Moody's improves Russian GDP outlook for 2021 to 2.3% rise

MOSCOW, Dec 18 (PRIME) -- International rating agency Moody's has slightly improved the outlook for the Russian gross domestic product (GDP) increase in 2021 to 2.3% from 2.2%, the agency said in a statement late on Thursday.

The Russian sovereign rating is assessed at Baa3 with a stable outlook. In April, Moody's changed the forecast for the Russian GDP in 2020 to a 5.5% decrease from a 0.5% rise.
